Emmaline Knowles
Hi there! My name is Emmaline Knowles and I read A LOT of middle grade books. My goal is to help kids fall in love with reading, one book recommendation at a time. I believe the stories written for children are the most important in the world and my dream is to write along side of all of those incredible authors that have changed so many young lives. In fact, I’m currently working on a story of my own! It’s an urban middle grade fantasy that takes place in a magical forest! Follow along with me as I find the best books for your kids.
About Me
I was born and raised in Utah. In fact, I never left. The mountains and forests that surround me, inspire every piece of magic I put into my writing. So why would I ever leave?
When I was a kid, I was always in the lowest reading groups and some years I even had to go to extra classes to catch up to my fellow students. I hated reading because of this. I was embarrassed by the books I read. When everyone else was reading Percy Jackson or Harry Potter, I was reading The Boxcar Children. But I decided all that was going to change, when I graduated high school, and decided that reading didn’t have to be a chore, it can be a way to live many different lives and talk to those who have come before us.
It is my life long goal now, to help kids find that love for reading much sooner than I did, no matter their reading level, interests or lifestyle. There is a book for everyone.
